Q: What is Oneighty?
A: Oneighty is the local church youth ministry of Church on
the Move. For more info see the History
of Oneighty.
Q: What happens at Oneighty?
A: Designed to be a safe place for you to come and enjoy the
very best worship services and time to hang out with your
friends - and meet some new ones - Oneighty features hundreds
of video games, billiards tables, ipod listening stations,
basketball courts, internet viewing stations and a full service
cafe to satisfy your hunger.
Q: What time does Oneighty start?
A: Each Wednesday night Oneighty opens the doors at 6:30 p.m. for game room time. The Oneighty Junior Varsity service is geared for our 7th-10th graders and starts at 7:00 p.m. and lasts till 8:00 p.m. Oneighty Varsity is for our 11th-12th graders, Varsity service time starts at 7:15 p.m. and lasts until 8:00 p.m. Our game room is open again from 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Oneighty is closed at 8:30 p.m.
Q: Can I show up late or leave early?
A: Whether you are in JV or Varsity, the service is the most important part of your Oneighty experience. So we ask that you show up on time and plan on staying until the service is over.
Q: How old is "too old" and how young is "too
young?"
A: Oneighty is a place created specifically for teenagers,
so you need to be a teenager. If you are not yet 13, or in
7th grade, sorry you'll have to wait. But don't worry; we're
not going anywhere, and we are only gonna get better. So relax,
we will see you soon! If you're 19, or out of High School,
the time has come for us to part ways. Unless, of course,
you are a member of Church on the Move and you want to help
us serve teenagers each week. If that's the case stop by our
offices or guest services desk and we'll point you in the
right direction.
Q: Can parents come?
A: We have designed Oneighty to be a place specifically for
teenagers, but we want parents to feel welcome to see what
their kids are enjoying. We have created an open door policy
for parents and you may see some of them wandering around from
time to time. So, you had better be on your best behavior just
in case the next ones you see are yours!
Q: Do I need to bring money?
A: The only thing that costs money at Oneighty is the food. All of the video games, billiards tables and everything else is free. So if your stomach IS talking to you, bring a little bit of money so you can talk back. Otherwise, relax it's on the house.
Q: How do I get to Oneighty?
A: We are located just north of the intersection of Highway
244 and 129th E. Ave.
If you're coming from the North you want 169 South to 244
East to 129th, go north and you'll see Oneighty on the Right.
If you live East, you may want to just take 44 west to 129th
or take the nearest cross street to 129th and head North.
If you live in South Tulsa you might want to take HWY 169
North to 244 East and get off on 129th and go North, Oneighty
is on the East (Right) side.
If you live West of HWY 169, you may want to take Hwy 44 to
129th and go North about 1/2 mile.
