YOU ARE

Have you ever heard the theory that a tiny butterfly flapping its wings in China can cause a chain reaction in the atmosphere that can eventually change the path of a tornado halfway across the globe? The lesson here is that you should never trust tiny Chinese butterflies. They are pure evil. But the bigger lesson is that there is a cause and an effect for everything in life, and even the smallest thing can have an impact on something really big. So when it comes to your life, what is the cause? What is it that causes you to be who You Are?

For the past few weeks, we have been learning about who God is, and we found out that not only is God love, but He is also good. He is our provider, protector, and our Lord. The cool thing is that we are made in the image of Him, so because God is… You Are. Because God is good, and He provides, and He protects, that is what you should be, too. But the cause and effect doesn’t stop there. You see, you have an opportunity to flap your wings and cause a ripple effect throughout your world by showing those around you who God is. After all, if anyone is going to show the world how good and gracious and kind God is…You Are.
